PVC Components - Lifetime

All vinyl Weather Shore windows are warranted against any defect in material or workmanship resulting in blistering, peeling, flaking or corroding under normal use and service for the life of the window. This warranty does not apply if the window has been painted or if there has been an application of solvent or any other product that could affect the polyvinyl chloride. Damages caused during installation or by improper installation are not covered by this warranty. Exposure to the sun's rays, air pollutants and normal atmospheric conditions are liable to bring about a gradual fading of PVC surfaces, chalking or an accumulation of surface dirt or stains. These are normal occurrences on which this warranty does not apply.

Insulated Glass Units - 15 years

Weather Shore guarantees that no permanent condensation will form between the panes of our insulated glass units. Weather Shore also guarantees that its insulated glass units will be free from vision obstruction resulting from moisture, film or dust collection between the interior glass units and will replace units as defective for a period of 15 years after the date of purchase. Weather Shore will cover the cost of labour to replace such defective units for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase.

Hardware Operating Parts - Lifetime

Weather Shore guarantees that the opening and closing mechanisms used in its products are free of manufacturing defects for the life of the window. This warranty covers the replacement of defective hardware returned to Weather Shore's factory and which is deemed to be defective at Weather Shore's sole judgement. Weather Shore will cover the cost of labour to replace such defective hardware for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase.
General Conditions

Weather Shore will repair or replace, as it sees fit, any original component deemed to be defective, and will do so free of charge including labour for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. For subsequent years, Weather Shore will be limited to replacing any defective part presented for exchange as outlined in this warranty. Installation costs will be payable by the client.

The Installation of Weather Shore products and replacement parts must be completed as per Manufacturer's installation Guide, otherwise this warranty is void. A light lubrication should be applied to hardware operating parts to ensure smooth operation and protection.

This warranty does not cover glass breaking or claims that are the result of accidents, misuse, or acts of God. Our maximum liability under this warranty is limited to the replacement of your window unit. We are not liable for incidental damages and are only responsible for the cost of installation for 1 year after the date of purchase.

Weather Shore reserves the right to make certain modifications without necessarily notifying its customers. Weather Shore may replace a part with one that may differ from the original but is of equal quality and is not responsible for any inconvenience that such a substitution may cause.

Any part repaired, replaced or exchanged shall be guaranteed only for the duration remaining on the original warranty agreement

To validate this warranty, purchaser must fill in the attached Warranty Registration Card and send by registered mail to Weather Shore no later than 30 days following the date of purchase. This warranty is transferable by original property owner to subsequent property owners, provided that the Property Transfer Registration Card is sent by registered mail no later than 30 days following the date of property transfer. Failure to follow these guidelines shall relieve Weather Shore of any further obligations under this warranty. Any request for service must be accompanied by proof of purchase.
